How to.. > Delete items
Delete items
You can delete models, drawings, Masterdata, and other documents that are stored in Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager.
Items stored in the database are usually linked to other items. Before an item is deleted, it is scanned for permissions or other problems that will prevent the item from being deleted. For example, models are always linked to the packet where they are saved. These links are usually removed when you delete an item, but sometimes they cannot be removed.

You can select multiple items to delete.
1. Select the item(s) you want to delete in the workspace window.
2. Click Structure and then, in the Modify group, click Delete from database. Alternatively, right-click and, in the shortcut menu, click Delete from database.
3. The Delete dialog box opens and display the items you selected.
4. When you click Next, the item(s) are scanned one at a time. At this point, you can cancel and nothing will be deleted or unlinked. As each item is verified for deletion, a window will display the item and any links that will be deleted.
5. When you click Next, the item will be deleted, and the summary window will list the items affected by the delete operation.
6. Click Finish to close the Delete window.
