Work with viewports
Viewports are an important tool for viewing your design environment. The viewport environment can be manipulated to allow you to:
Create, delete, redraw, and change the graphical settings of viewports.
Change a viewport's color, projection, and direction, change the lighting of parts in a viewport, apply clipping planes to models, and dump a viewport's contents.
Clear, copy, add, and remove objects to determine what is displayed in the viewport using the Structure Browser.
Use the Show Properties dialog box to select the display options for 3D geometry, 2D geometry, workplanes, and others.
To open a new viewport:
1. Click 3D Access and then, in the Window group, click the arrow next to New.
2. Click Selected.
3. Name the new viewport and click .
To open the Viewport Settings dialog box:

You can also right-click the viewport and select Viewport Properties. The Vport dialog box opens.
