Camera clipping planes
To set camera clipping planes, right-click the viewport and select Viewport Properties on the shortcut menu. The Vport dialog box opens. Under Clip Planes, click the Camera check box.
The options available for camera clipping planes are:
Front - Use this option to enable and position the front clipping plane.
Back - Use this option to enable and position the back clipping plane.
You can specify a front and a back clipping plane. Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access does not display anything outside the two clipping planes.
The clipping planes are always perpendicular to the viewing direction. The front clipping plane cannot be positioned behind the back clipping plane and the back clipping plane cannot be positioned in front of the front clipping plane.
When you first switch on the front clipping plane it is set at a negative value to indicate that it is in front of the model. Clicking Fit in the Viewing group on the 3D Access tab resets the clipping planes to default.
