Display objects using Show
The Show Properties dialog box controls the appearance of the objects (parts and workplanes) in viewports. For example, by adding a part to a viewport's drawlist, you can set its appearance using Show Properties (for example, displaying edges and shading).
To display the Show Properties dialog box:
Right-click the viewport and select Show Properties.
Click File > Settings > Viewport Settings > Show.
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access redraws the contents of the viewport as you switch on or off the characteristic.
If you want to switch on or off more than one object at a time without closing the menu, pin the menu. Afterwards, you can close the menu by clicking the close icon.
If you have a large assembly or part and want to change several Show settings, you can avoid redrawing the viewport contents after every click by freezing the viewport, changing the Show settings, and then unfreezing the viewport.
The following table summarizes the Show settings. Click the tab to display the appropriate group of settings.
The Show Options
3D Geometry:
3D Geometry - Master switch for 3D Geometry
Shaded - Shaded facets
Edged - Edged facets
Wire - Wire facets
Hidd Supp - Suppress hidden facets and edges
Hidd Dimm - Dim hidden edges
Mixed - Mixed display mode
Vertices - 3D part vertices
Feature Points - Feature points
Coord Sys - Coordinate Systems
Part Trans - Part transparency
Face Trans - Face transparency
Face Color - Face colors
Part Refl - Part reflectance
Face Refl - Face reflectance
Edge Color - Edge colors
Labels - 3D labels
Docuplane - 3D documentation planes
Clip Panes - Clipping planes
Workplanes:
Workplanes - Master switch for workplanes (including contents)
WP Border - Workplane borders
Local Axes - Workplane local axes (U,V,W)
WP Label - Workplane name labels (/w1, and so on)
Dim Inactive - Dims the geometry in inactive workplane
Match Lines - Match lines (used in Loft)

Labels - Labels for 2D geometry
Hidd Supp - The display of geometry in the active workplane. With this option switched off the geometry of the active workplane is no longer hidden (suppressed). You can see the geometry even if the workplane lies within a part.(1)
Analysis:
Analysis - Shows/hides analysis.
Mesh - Shows/hides meshes.
Mesh Cnd - Shows/hides mesh conditions.
LBC - Shows/hides loads and boundary conditions.
Results - Shows/hides analysis results.
Shaded - Shows/hides undeformed(2) shaded model.
Edged - Shows/hides undeformed(2) edges.
Wire - Shows/hides undeformed(2) wire elements.
Hidden - Shows/hides undeformed(2) hidden geometry.

(1) Hidd Dimm is not available if your system does not support OpenGL graphics hardware.
(2) The part's original shape.
