Change colors with the color editor
Creo Elements/Direct 3D AccessColor Editor is used to modify colors to a precise definition. The editor is accessed by clicking Modify in the Color Selector. You can specify colors using either the RGB (Red-Green-Blue) or HSL (Hue-Saturation-Luminosity) color mechanism.
You can set colors in the Color Editor by positioning the sliders or by entering particular values in the data entry field. The editor toggles between RGB and HSL modes; click the appropriate switch under Color Settings. The color currently defined by the sliders is displayed at the bottom of the editor. Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access automatically updates the resultant color as you change the HSL or RGB settings.
To set a color in the editor,
1. In the Color Selector, click Modify.
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access displays the Color Editor.
2. Specify the color in one of the following ways:
Slide the sliders to change the settings.
If you know the exact RGB or HSL values, enter them directly in the Hue, Sat:, Lum: or Red, Green, Blue data entry fields.
3. When you have attained the correct color, click OK.
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access uses the color in the Using the color selector.
