To create eDrawings data of a model or drawing, save as an eDrawings file.
Save as an eDrawings file
1. Click File > Save. The Save dialog box opens.
2. Select eDrawings 3D (*.easm) in the File Type box.
3. Click Options. See above for descriptions of the general options. You can also set the following options:
Enable measure
Check this box to allow the recipient to measure the data using the eDrawings Viewer. This option is applicable only if you have selected Professional.
Allow STL export
Check this box to allow the recipient of the file to save it as an STL file from the eDrawings Viewer. This option is applicable only when saving 3D models.
Limitations
Only assemblies and parts are exported. Containers, workplanes, etc. are not exported.
