The save settings are available in the Save pane of the System Settings dialog box.
On Exit
Persistent data storage keeps user settings of the current session and restores the same data for the next save session.
If the Save Persistent Settings check box is clicked, then all current user settings and data are stored on system exit; persistent data and settings are then reloaded with the next start up. Reset restores the persistent data as set during the system start up.
Default File Version
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access is able to store backwards compatible files that can be loaded in previous versions. You can select the default file version of Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access to save files in. The file version change is persistent: The next time Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access is started, the system will remember the default file version selected.
