Measure blends or chamfers
You can measure the radius of a blend or the distance and angle of a chamfer as follows:
To measure the radius of a blended edge
To measure a chamfered edge
To measure the radius of a blended edge
1. Click Analysis and then, in the Measure group, click Blend/Chamfer. The Blend/Chamfer and Measure Output dialog boxes open.
2. Specify the blended edge you want to measure. Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access states whether the blend is of a constant or variable radius, and displays the radius of the blend in the Blend/Chamfer Output box. If you have measured a blend of variable radius, graphical feedback is provided to show the radius at the beginning and end of the blend.
3. Click to complete the operation.
To measure a chamfered edge
1. Click Analysis and then, in the Measure group, click Blend/Chamfer. The Blend/Chamfer and Measure Output dialog boxes open.
2. Specify the chamfered edge you want to measure. Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access states the type of chamfer (distance, distance/distance, or distance angle) and displays the measured dimensions in the Blend/Chamfer Output box. Graphical feedback is also provided.
