Measure the axis of an edge tangent
To measure the axis of an edge tangent
1. Click
Analysis and then, in the
Measure group, click the arrow next to
Direction.
2. Click
Axis 3D. The
Measure Output dialog box opens.
3. Right-click the viewport and select Point and Dir.
4. Specify an axis point.
5. Right-click and select Edge Tangent.
6. You now have two choices:
◦ If the direction of the axis is correct, click Apply.
◦ If you want the opposite direction, click Apply Reverse.
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access displays the axis point and direction in the two sets of X, Y, and Z fields.
7. You can click further measure options, or click
to complete the operation.
