Measure one axis of the local workplane axes (U, V, W)
To measure one axis of the local workplane axes (U,V,W)
This option measures the axis corresponding to U, V, W and -U, -V, -W (the local workplane coordinate axes).
1. Click Analysis and then, in the Measure group, click the arrow next to Direction.
2. Click Axis 3D. The Measure Output dialog box opens.
3. If necessary, specify a new reference workplane. Right-click the viewport, click WP System > Ref WP and specify a workplane.
4. Click one of U, V, W, -U, -V, or -W. The viewer displays the axis point (the workplane origin relative to the global coordinate system origin) and direction in the two sets of X, Y, and Z fields.
5. You can click further measure options, or click to complete the operation.
