Dynamically manipulate the viewport
You can dynamically manipulate the contents of a viewport either:
From the Dynamic (or Knobs) dialog box, or
By using the dynamic mouse.
To dynamically manipulate the contents of a viewport
The Dynamic (or Knobs) dialog box lets you rotate models:
Relatively
By clicking the icon number (for example, 2) and sliding the slidebar horizontally.
Absolutely
By clicking the icon directly and entering a value on the user input line.
Once you have completed rotating the model, remember to click .
If you click or close the menu, the original position is restored.
The icons do the following:

Use the Dynamic (or Knobs) Dialog Box
Click View > Dynamic.
1. Click Dynamic. The Knobs dialog box opens.

You may need to use File > Customize to add Dynamic to your toolbars.
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access displays a knob-box menu which has:
Pictures of the pan, zoom and rotate actions for each of the knobs.
A row of numbers which correspond to each of the knobs.
A horizontal sliding bar.
2. To manipulate the contents of the viewport:
Click the number which corresponds to the correct knob.
Slide the bar horizontally with the mouse to position the part.
3. You now have two choices:
To reset the view back to its original orientation, click .
To keep the view as you see it, click .
Use the dynamic mouse
Press and hold the [Ctrl] key and press one of the following mouse buttons:
Left Button Translation in X and Y direction.
Middle Button Rotation about X-, Y- and Z-axes. (When using a two-button mouse on Windows systems, press both buttons simultaneously.)
Right Button Zoom in and out.
