All annotations and docuplanes from Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access are exported to Creo View MCAD.
As a CAD administrator, you can create a customized Recipe or set of Recipe configurations for specific use cases or design roles.
• Standard intrinsic model attributes such as mass, density, and volume are always exported. Standard intrinsic attributes and database attributes are differentiated based on category. The category for standard intrinsic attributes is Creo Elements/Direct.
• In Creo View MCAD, right-click an annotation and click Highlight References on the context menu to highlight the geometric references.
• You can move the annotation text in Creo View MCAD.
• For each exported docuplane that contains annotations in Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access, a layer, which has the same name as the docuplane is created in Creo View MCAD. This layer contains all the annotations of the exported docuplane.
• The display of annotations in Creo View MCAD is controlled by layer visibility. Select a layer to view all annotations for the corresponding docuplane. The annotations (with all the text) are properly visible in Creo View MCAD.
• A free layer (under the view state “Default View”) is created in Creo View MCAD, which contains all free annotations that do not belong to any docuplane in Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access. This layer is active by default for all views.

Creo View MCAD has a different color priority than Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access. In Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access, the face color has the highest priority, while in Creo View MCAD; the color of the part instance has the highest priority.
