Showing groups of annotations
You can control the groups' annotations that are displayed in the viewport. You can not only highlight the annotations and their references belonging to selected groups, but also remove from display all annos other than those selected.
To show the annotations of a specific group:
1. Click Analysis and then, in the Inspect group, click Show Group. The Show Group dialog box opens.
2. Select the group to show from the browser.
Creo Elements/Direct 3D Access highlights the annotations that belong to the selected group. You can also click All Groups on to show all annotations belonging to all groups.
3. Optionally, change the highlight color for the annotations (yellow by default) by clicking Color and selecting a color in the Color Selector.
4. Manage the display of annotations as follows:
Click Show to display the annotations belonging to the selected group. This option has no effect when all annotations are already showing.
Click Hide to remove from display the annotations belonging to the selected group.
Click Show only to display only the selected group's annotations in the viewport. All other annos are hidden. This option is unavailable when All Groups is selected because it is redundant.
5. To navigate between different annotations of the selected group during a show session, click Next anno and Prev anno. The annos are displayed and highlighted in turn.
6. Click to complete the show session.
The annotation Show settings are retained after you have finished. Note that the show information is only for display purposes, it is not saved with the model.
