Configure INCOSE Rules for the Requirement Assistant
A Project Administrator can configure the Requirement Assistant feature. Using the AI Configuration menu, the project administrator can configure the INCOSE rules against which the requirements will be evaluated and configure the rewrite tools for the requirements.
Perform the following steps to configure the Requirement Assistant.
1. Go to your project in Codebeamer.
2. In the project navigation bar, click > tab to open the configuration dashboard.
3. The following options are available:
◦ Issue Detection—Select the individual INCOSE rules to customize the rules set.
a. Select the rule set to update from INCOSE_4.0 or INCOSE_4.0_GERMAN.
b. Next to the Filter option, click Edit .
c. Select or clear the check box next to the rules to enable or disable them.
d. Click Save to update the rules.
◦ Rewrite Tools—Select the rewrite tools and definitions.
a. Click Edit, at the bottom of the page, to choose the rewrite tools.
b. In the Rewrite Tools section, select or clear the check box next to the tools to enable or disable them.
c. In the Format Definitions section, following options are available:
▪ Characteristic Requirement
▪ Design Constraint Requirement
▪ Functional Requirement
▪ Interface Requirement
Following user interface options are available to define the rewrite templates.
▪ Add Building Block—Use this option to add a new building block to the templates.
▪ Default—Use this option to use the default templates available.
d. Click Save to apply the changes.
