Executing Test Runs
Once the test engineer has initiated a test run, it is immediately available for the testers to run. Testers find the test runs assigned to them under > menu. They can also open the Test Runs tracker and pick the open test runs.
There are two kinds of test runs that are stored in test run trackers:
• The top-level test runs are called test set runs. One test set run holds information about a single run of a test set on a certain platform and version.
• Child issues of the test set runs in the same tracker are called test case runs, which represent the results of a run of one test case.
To execute test runs, pick a top-level issue that is a test set run from the Test Runs tracker. Select a test run that is open to view its properties page.
The Test Results section of the test run properties page shows the detailed results of each test case, and a pie-chart showing how the test set run is progressing.
By default, completed test runs cannot be rerun. You can click Run to start testing.
