The maxBusyInterval Attribute
This attribute specifies the number of seconds that the
Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE pool work thread (explained in
Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE Pool Work Thread) will wait for an
Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE response to be returned to the
Arbortext PE Request Manager. The default value is
1800 seconds (30 minutes). If an
Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE does not respond with a result before this interval elapses, the
Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE pool assumes that the
Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE is not usable and terminates it. An error will be returned that is usually transmitted to the HTTP client making the request.
If processing a request could take a significant amount of time, increase the value accordingly to be sure the Sottoprocessi Arbortext PE can produce the result in the allotted time. For example, formatting a large document or one with many graphics could take a long time, and if the wait period elapses, the Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE could terminate before it finishes formatting and publishing the document.
If you want to disable the wait process because you know processing requests will take a very long time, you can set this attribute to zero. In this case, the work thread will never terminate an Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE for failing to respond.
