• Name — provide a name for the new graphic entity.

• File name — provide the path and file name if the graphic entity is located on your system.

• Public ID — provide a public identifier name for your graphic entity. Use a public ID to identify a graphic entity located in an area common to a variety of systems, and Arbortext Editor will attempt to match this path by searching all catalog files in the current catalog path list.

• Notation — choose a notation for your graphic entity. If you need to create a new notation, click the New button to open the New notation dialog box.
