• Name — Provide a name for the new notation (usually the file extension for the graphic). These names appear as selections in the Graphic Entities dialog box.

• System ID — Provide a path and file name if the notation is located on your system. Use a system ID to identify a graphic application using a file:// or http:// URL.

• Public ID — Provide a public identifier for the notation. Use a public ID to identify a graphic application located in an area common to a variety of systems, and Arbortext Editor will attempt to match this path by searching all catalog files in the current catalog path list.
