Window Preferences
The Window category in the Preferences dialog box sets the following window options:
Show — controls display of menus, command line, and table rulers within the Edit window. Choose any of the following you want displayed on the screen:
Full Menus — Displays all available menus and menu items.
Table Rulers — Controls the display of the Column Ruler, Row Ruler, and Table Icon.
Command Line — Enables the command line for the Arbortext Editor session.
Table Toolbar Only When Table is Active — Automatically hides the Table tool bar whenever the cursor is not inside a table.
Cursor Type — Controls the display of the cursor:
BlockThis is an image of a block cursor, which is a vertical black rectangle.
I-BeamThis is an image of an I-beam cursor, which is red and shaped like the letter I.
LineThis is an image of a line cursor, which is a vertical red line.
Measurement Units — Controls the units of measure for the Edit window and table rulers. Choose from centimeters, inches, millimeters, picas, points, or pixels.
Save Window Configuration on Exit — Controls whether Arbortext Editor remembers its window configuration the next time you start it. The window configurations that are saved:
Location and size of Arbortext Editor window
Location and size of modeless dialog boxes
Document Map pane display, including whether it is synchronized with the Edit pane
Display and location of toolbars
Display and locations of docked dialog boxes
