Editing in Different Views
In our discussion of editing in views, we divide authoring into the following three task categories:
Inserting new markup and content
Rearranging markup within the document structure
Editing content
With Arbortext Editor you can choose the arrangement that best suits you. You have the flexibility to arrange the panes of your window in a way that is most conducive to working well. You might find that you prefer to use a different view of your document for each type of authoring task. We make some suggestions about which view might work best for certain authoring tasks.
The three views discussed in relation to these tasks are:
The default view
The Document Map view
The Edit view
See the individual help topics for each view for suggestions on usage.
