Aligning Text in Individual Cells
*
Alignment operations are not applicable to custom tables.
Use the Table Properties dialog box to control the alignment of text within the cells of a table.
1. Select a cell or a range of cells.
2. Choose Table > Table Properties.
3. On the Cell tab, choose a Horizontal justification. The options are left, centered, right, justified, and character alignment. If you choose character alignment, you will also need to specify an Alignment Character and an Offset from Left Edge of Cell, which is a percentage of the cell width.
4. Choose a Vertical justification. The options are top, centered, and bottom.
*
Character alignment is not effective in HTML outputs. Browsers are not required to support it, and they do not.
*
If cell content is rotated, vertical and horizontal alignment settings affect the cell's orientation, not that of the rotated text.
