Inserting a Table
You can insert tables in your documents if the document type includes at least one of Arbortext Editor's supported table models or a custom table.
1. Find a valid location to insert your table (for example, place the cursor to the right of a paragraph end tag).
2. Choose Insert > Table.
If the following conditions are true, the Select a Table Model dialog box opens. You can choose a table model:
if your document type supports multiple table models.
if set prompttablemodels is set to on.
if the cursor is in a valid location to insert more than one table model.
3. Select a table model from the Table Models list, and click OK.
4. Once you have chosen a table model, or, if your document type doesn't support multiple table models, the Insert Table dialog box opens, in which you can specify table configuration options.
5. Click OK to insert the table.
