Deleting File Entities
If you want to remove a file entity from your document and make it unavailable for later use, you can delete it using the File entity dialog box.
1. Remove all occurrences of the entity from your document. Select each entity individually, including the tags, and press DELETE. Do not use Cut to remove the entity; Arbortext Editor keeps a copy of the entity in the paste buffer and will not allow you to delete it using the File entity dialog box.
2. Choose Entities > File.
3. Click the entity you want to delete.
4. Click Delete. The entity is removed from the list of available entities.
5. Click Close.
