Entities Menu Introduction
The Entities menu provides access to the entity dialog boxes, where you can create, modify, and delete entities and notations that are used in your document. This menu is only available if you have elected to display Full Menus. You can display the Entities menu by choosing Tools > Preferences, selecting the Windows category, and checking the Full Menus option.
The following options are available on the Entities menu:
• Create text entity from selection — Opens the Create text entity from selection dialog box.
• Create file entity from selection — Opens the Create file entity from selection dialog box.
• Text — create, modify, insert, and delete text entities.
• File — create, modify, insert, and delete file entities.
• Graphic — create, modify, insert, and delete graphic entities.
• Notations — create, modify, and delete notations.
• Marked Sections — (SGML documents only) create, modify, insert, and delete marked sections (conditional text).
