Set Profiles
Use the Set Profiles dialog box to set the profiling configuration document elements must meet to be published. The profiles you apply reflect the intended audience and determine the document's contents. The dialog box has the following controls:
Profile list — Based on the type selected in the Mode area, lists the individual or group profiles available for setting. Select profiles to publish by clicking on their check boxes.
The images on listed profiles and profile groups have the following meanings:
Image
Means
An image of a folder
This is a class of individual profiles, a group of classes, or a profile group.
An image one square overlapping another
This is an individual profile value.
An image of a folder with a dot on its cover
This is a profile class or group containing unique profile values.
Mode — Specifies whether to display the Apply Individual Profiles or the Apply Profile Group in the Profile list.

Individual profile settings are ignored if a group profile is also set.
OK — Sets the selected profiles the document elements must have to be published.
Cancel — Closes the dialog box without setting or changing the profiles the document elements must have to be published.
Help — Displays help for this dialog box.
You can configure colored shading to differentiate between profile groups, attributes, and values. See Using Shading for Profiled Elements for further information on configuring shading for profile values.
