Schema/DTD Not Found Dialog Box
The Schema/DTD Not Found dialog box appears when you attempt to open a document for which Arbortext Editor cannot find the document type.
*
If you add an incorrect entry to a custom document type directory in the catalog file, Arbortext Editor will not be able to find the document types located in this directory. You will have to browse from the New Document dialog box to open document types in this directory.
Select one of the following options and click OK to continue:
Browse for Schema/DTD — Displays a file selection dialog box that lets you locate the document type for this document.
If the document type is not compiled, it will be compiled automatically. If no stylesheet exists for the document type, the document will be unformatted.
Open in free-form mode without Schema/DTD — Opens the file in an unformatted tagged mode.
While no document type will be available to allow for context checking, completeness checking, and change validation, Arbortext Editor will parse the document to verify that it is well formed.
When the document is saved back to disk after any editing, it will be saved with its original document type declaration.
Open as text — Opens the file in its ASCII form.
