User Information Preferences
The User Information category in the Preferences dialog box sets the following user identity options:
User Name — Enter the user name; the default is obtained from your system user name
Full Name — Enter the full name to be used for change tracking user identification. If no name is entered, the value for User Name is used.
User Color — choose a color to identify the changes you make when change tracking is active. This color identifies you in the Edit window, in print and in published output. By default, no color is selected.
If you do not choose a user color, a color will still be assigned to you to identify you in a document. The color identifies you only within that particular document.
If you use change tracking in a document where another user was already assigned your selected color, you will be assigned a different color that doesn't conflict with another reviewer. The new color will be assigned to you only in that document. The color palette has 10 distinct fallback color choices, and Arbortext Editor will attempt to use all of them for the first 10 authors without a suitable color already assigned.
In both of these cases, this User Color preference will not be changed as a result.
The User Name, Full Name, and User Color values are used to identify reviewers using change tracking.
