Some elements and attributes are included in the DITA document types, but are not intended to be used for authoring. By default, these hidden elements are not displayed in the Arbortext Editor or the Insert Markup and Quick Tags features. Hidden attributes do not appear in the Modify Attributes dialog box, but do appear in the Quick Attribute dialog box.

Review the relevant .dcf files to see if the list of hidden elements and attributes should be modified for your environment.
