Substituting CJK (simplified and traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) fonts
You can use the tfontsub.cf file to specify which CJK fonts should be substituted when the stylesheet specifies a particular non-CJK font. To do so, add lines of the following form to the tfontsub.cf file.
font/langcode -> CJKfont
For example, to ensure that Chinese characters render in SimHei when the stylesheet specifies Arial, add the following line to the tfontsub.cf file:
Arial/chs -> SimHei
Refer to the notes in the tfontsub.cf file for further details.
