Creating Lists
You can insert numbered and bulleted lists in your document using toolbar buttons if this feature has been configured in the document type's .dcf file.
To create a numbered list:
1. Do one of the following:
Place the insertion point in an existing paragraph.
Insert a new paragraph.
Select multiple paragraphs that you want to number.
2. Click the Numeric List button This is an image of the numbers 1, 2, and 3 from top to bottom, with a line next to each number..
3. If the numbers do not appear, click the Update GenText button.
To create a bulleted list:
1. Do one of the following:
Place the insertion point in an existing paragraph
Insert a new paragraph
Select multiple paragraphs that you want in a bulleted list
2. Click the Bulleted List button This is an image of three square bullets, from top to bottom, with a line next to each bullet..
3. If the bullets do not appear, click the Update GenText button.
To change the style of a list:
1. Select all of the items in a bulleted or numbered list. If you only want to change the style of one item in the list, select or place the insertion point within that item.
2. Change the list by clicking the appropriate button for the style of list you want.
Click the Numeric List button to change to a numbered list.
Click the Bulleted List button to change to a bulleted list.
3. If the bullets or numbers do not appear, click the Update GenText button.
To remove list formatting, select the list and click the button representing the lists current style. For example, selecting a bulleted list and clicking the Bulleted List button removes the bullets and changes the list items to regular paragraphs.
