Insert New Element Dialog Box
(Available only with Free-form XML document type instances.)
Inserts a previously undefined element at the current location. Open the Insert New Element dialog box by selecting Insert > New Element, by selecting the New button on the Insert Markup dialog box, or by pressing Enter and selecting Insert New Element from the list.
New element — Type the name of the new element in this field.
Empty — Select to specify that the new element is to be a singleton.
To insert a new tag:
1. Open a Free-form XML document type instance for editing.
2. Place the cursor at the location you wish to insert the new tag.
3. Press enter to display the Quick Tag popup.
4. Select Insert New Element from the list.
5. In the New element field, type the name of the tag to be inserted.
6. Select Empty if you want to create a singleton element.
7. Click OK to insert the new tag at the current cursor location.
