Changing Fonts in the Equation Editor
There are nine different fonts from which to choose on the Equation Editor Format menu.
To type characters in roman font:
1. From the Equation Editor menu bar, choose Format > Font > Roman, or, on the Palette, press the Roman button.
2. Type in the desired characters.
To return to previous font:
To get out of Roman mode and return to the previous type style:
1. Press F5 until the entire Roman construct is surrounded.
2. Continue your work.
To change the font of existing characters:
1. Select a series of existing characters.
2. Click the right-mouse button and choose Cut from the shortcut menu.
3. From the menu bar, choose Format FontRoman (or Italic or Calligraphic).
4. Paste the highlighted region back into the equation. The selected characters reappear in the desired font.
