Stylesheet Validation
The functions in this dialog box allow you to validate selected stylesheets and display the results.
• Select Stylesheet — Use this option to choose the stylesheet you wish to compile from the current directory.
• Browse — Allows you to choose a stylesheet that is not on the current Select Stylesheet list.
Clicking to choose a stylesheet through the Browse box automatically compiles the selected document type.
• Show errors/warnings — This check box allows you to determine if a FOSI Compile or Completeness check window are displayed.
All messages in the FOSI Compile Messages window are active; clicking opens the FOSI Tagged View editor, with the cursor positioned in the tag that generated the error message.
• Log — Displays validation results.
• Validate — Only one highlighted stylesheet is validated. Results display in the log.
• Validate all — All stylesheets in the current directory are validated and the results are displayed in the log.
If the Show errors/warnings toggle is set, validation continues until it encounters a stylesheet that cannot be validated. Arbortext Editor then displays a separate FOSI Compile Messages window for the warnings and errors for the unvalidated stylesheet. No additional stylesheets in the directory are processed.
• Close — closes dialog box without validating any stylesheets.
