Warnings Preferences
The Warnings category in the Preferences dialog box sets the following warning options:
Show — Controls the type and level of warnings. The following options are available:
Print Warnings — Displays formatting warning messages in a window whenever a document is formatted. This preference is not available if the Print Composer option feature is not enabled.
Document Type Warnings — Displays warning messages in a window whenever a document type has parsing errors.
Stylesheet Warnings — Displays stylesheet warning messages in a window whenever a stylesheet is interpreted (that is, by opening a document or creating a new document).
Context Warnings — Displays warning messages when context checking is disabled for a document.
Change Tracking Warnings — Displays change tracking warning messages. For more information on these warnings, see Limitations of change tracking.
Prompt Before Wrapping on Find — If the cursor is not at the beginning or end of a document, a prompt message asks whether to continue a search when the end (or beginning of a reverse search) of the document is reached.
Generated Text Messages to Display — Choose the desired level of warning messages to be sent to you when generated text is displayed:
None — Display no generated text messages.
Errors — Display generated text error messages only.
Errors and Warnings — Display all text error messages and warnings.
Errors, Warnings, and Informational — Display all text error messages and warnings, and all informational messages.
