Deleting an Installed Document Type
You can delete an installed document type, which removes it from your system.
To delete an installed document type:
1. Before you can delete an installed document type, you must first remove it from Type list in the New Document dialog box. Refer to Removing document types from the New Document dialog box for more information.
2. Once you have removed the document type from the list in the New Document box, open Arbortext Architect.
3. Choose File > Delete.
4. Locate the directory in which the document type you want to delete is stored, and then choose Select.
5. A dialog box displays specifying a catalog file path, and asks if you want to delete the entry for the document type you're deleting in this catalog file. You may use the suggested path or enter a new path, and then click OK. If you do not want to remove the entry in the catalog file for this document type, delete the path, leave the text field empty, and then click OK.
