Once you remove a document type, you cannot undo it. Refer to Adding document types to the New Document dialog box for information on adding a document type to the New Document dialog box.
6. Click the Yes button.
The document type is removed from the Type list.
7. Click OK in the New List Configuration dialog box, Close in the Advanced Preferences dialog box, and OK in the Preferences dialog box.
8. Choose File > New and make sure your document type is no longer in the New Document dialog box.
Note that you can also use the set newlist command itself to control the document types available in the New Document dialog box
