Description
Instructs PTC ALD to split the Maths equation and leave some of it on the previous line, when there is no space available for stretch / shrink on the line in question (if there is space, the more standard <?tptxhy> command may be used to activate inline splitting).

This command will not function unless the general allow splits option has been activated via <?tptxsplit>.

Additional Information
Even in extended mode, PTC ALD will only split at recognized points in the equation: at root level or at a position with a penalty value of less than 10000. Penalty values for operators/characters are set via the <?tptxpenb>, <?tptxpend>, <?tptxpene>, <?tptxpenh> and <?tptxpenr> commands.
