Description
Invokes the Horizontal move (kern): dialog box. From here you can enter precise kerns between characters, as an alternative to adding manual kerns using PTC ALD special kern characters. Please see graphic below as an example of text spaced using a horizontal kern:

Additional Information
A common mistake when using the Horizontal Move (kern) dialog box is to use a - (minus) character and then press Backwards. The Backwards button automatically inserts a - in front of the value you entered, so to enter an addition minus sign would cancel out the backwards move.
