Introduction
The user interface of Arbortext Layout Developer has remained unchanged for many years. For the 12.0.0.0 release we have made some changes to help bring it a little up to date. Changes have been made to:
• The default toolbars — a new main toolbar has been created with commonly used tools
• The menu structure — a new menu structure has been applied which removes some of the redundant menus and organises actions into a more logical structure
• Preferences dialogs — the application and document preferences/configuration dialogs have been updated to make them more modern
• The blue/left bar — new functionality has been added to the blue/left bar to make it more useful
• The ttop macro — this macro has been extended to add additional functionality to make navigation easier
We understand that not everyone will want to use the new toolbars and menus, so a facility has been provided to use the older versions instead.
