Use <?tchrvf> to set the alignment of the characters when they are rotated.

Invoke the Character - rotation dialog box.

0	Auto rotation: defaults to 4 when in horizontal mode and 1 if in vertical mode. Normal roman characters override this to that they format on their side.
1	Left: rotate characters by 270°, i.e:
2	Upside-down: rotate characters by 180°, i.e: .
3	Right: rotate characters by 90°, i.e: .
4	No rotation
