Microsoft Azure Deployment Recommendations
While deploying Microsoft Azure, consider the following recommendations for VM size.
Size
Maximum cached and temporary storage throughput: IOPS/Mbps (cache size in GB)
Maximum uncached disk throughput: IOPS/Mbps.
Maximum Network Interface Card (NIC)/Expected network bandwidth (Mbps)

Standard D Series (Dsv3-series)

Premium SSD
• Use Premium SSD with maximum IOPS >= 12800.
• Use the Linux operating system. See the supported Linux OS section in Assumptions and Prerequisites.
• The network bandwidth must be at least 2000 Mbps. Recommended is 4000 Mbps.
• The PTC Arbortext Content Delivery Viewers data directory must be on the local disk.
• The recommended throughput per disk is at least 250 MB/sec.
