Set Featured Object Status in Windchill Workgroup Manager for Creo Elements/Direct Modeling
New objects or the objects that you check out are automatically added to the Featured Objects list. For basic information about featured objects, see Using Windchill Workspaces. When you check in an object, the object is removed from the featured objects list.
You can assign Featured Objects status to selected objects in your workspace. In the Featured Object Status column, note the following icons:
indicates that the object is not a featured object. Pointing to displays the message Not Featured.
indicates that the object is a featured object. Pointing to displays the message Featured.
To set featured object status for one or more objects, perform the following steps:
1. In your workspace, select one or more objects.
2. Click Edit > Set as Featured.

Featured Object Status column is visible in the default view of only the new server installs. Add the Featured Object Status column if it is missing. For information on how to add a column to the view, see Creating and Editing New Table Views.
To view objects as a Featured Objects list, in your workspace, in the Objects List, click As a Featured Objects list. Only the featured objects are displayed in the view.
If you set objects as featured objects in the standalone Workgroup Manager browser, click Tools > Synchronize to set the objects as featured objects in your embedded browser.
