Windchill Interference Management Services
*
If you are publishing CAD data using Visualization Content Services (VCS), the information provided in this section and its subsections does not apply.
Windchill Interference Management Services allows a means of submitting representations and dynamic structures for interference analysis and managing the interferences in Windchill.
The administrator’s interference management duties include these tasks:
Configure the Interference Engine (CLASH Worker). This is based on the Creo View Adapters Client Worker. See "Configuring the Batch Interference Engine" in the Creo View MCAD Adapters Installation and Configuration Guide that you can find in the Creo View Help Center or the Creo View Adapters Reference Documents.
Set Interference Detection preferences Interference Detection Definition (IDD) preferences.
Schedule Interference Detection Jobs to run at defined times and frequencies. See “WVS Job Scheduler Administration” in the Publishing CAD Documents chapter for more information.
For more information on managing Interference Detection, see the following topics:
Creating an Interference Detection Definition in the Windchill Help Center,
“Configuring the Creo View Interference Engine” in the Creo View MCAD Adapters Installation and Configuration Guide
“Detecting Interferences” in the Creo View Help Center
“About Detecting Interferences” in the Windchill and Creo View Visualization Getting Started Guide
