Configuring Windchill ESI Assumptions
To use Windchill ESI you must first configure Windchill PDMLink and Info*Engine appropriately.
The configuration steps outlined assume that:
All the required Windchill PDMLinkcomponents have been installed. Windchill ESI is installed and configured and is enabled for use.
All the Windchill EAI components, including a JMS service are installed and configured correctly for Windchill ESI.
The Windchill PDMLink products are installed on the same machine from which you will be accessing Windchill ESI.
You are familiar with Windchill PDMLink and Info*Engine features such as the Windchill PDMLinkmethod server, Info*Engine Property Administration Utility and the LDAP browser. Refer to the documentation provided with these features, if you need information on how to access and use these features.
