CGR File Management for Large Assemblies
A CGR (CATIA Graphical Representation) is a lightweight representation that contains only vertex and triangle surface geometry. It does not contain any design data or properties. CGRs enable you to view very large assemblies stored in Windchill more quickly, without having to copy the entire assembly hierarchy to your machine. They are also useful for representing assembly dependents when structures need to be shared without the inclusion of proprietary design data and alternate representations.
