Adding a Placeholder

Incomplete objects are only applicable to Windchill PDMLink, Windchill ProjectLink, or Pro/INTRALINK.

You can resolve an uploaded incomplete object by adding a placeholder to the CAD document. Adding a placeholder puts a CAD document template rather than an actual file into the incomplete object.

Viewing Workspace ObjectsTo add a placeholder to an incomplete object:
1. From the information page menu of the incomplete object, select Add Placeholder.
2. The system adds the template for the file extension of the CAD application file to the incomplete object.
