Using Augmented Reality Experience from Windchill
The augmented reality (AR) experience can be created for your design using the Publish AR Experience action from Windchill. This action is available from both the CAD Document and Part Property pages Action menu. Also, this action can be accessed using a right mouse button click for these supported object types from the folder view or search results views. As part of this process a thingmark will be assigned to your experience. In order to publish, access and share the experience, the user must have credentials with the PTC.com support site.
A user is limited to five published augmented reality experiences. This limit is inclusive of models published from both Windchill and Creo.
Refer to the Workflow to Publish Augmented Reality Experience topic for more instructions regarding naming the experience, viewable quality and floor placement.
The published augmented reality experience can be visualized through the ThingWorx View. Refer to the Sharing and Viewing the Augmented Reality Experience Models topic for more instructions to get the ThingWorx View application.
