Installation of source system and target system on the same machine which has the Windows Server 2016 operating system, is not supported. This is because the multiplatform installation tool InstallAnywhere 2017 does not support Windchill Server installation of older Windchill releases. However, customer can install target system on Windows 2016 operating system and source system on other machine.
