Did You Know?
• For information about installing, updating, or upgrading a Windchill PDM Essentials instance, or for information about moving up from Windchill PDM Essentials to Windchill PDMLink, see Updating, Upgrading, and Moving Up.
• If you upgrade your Microsoft SQL Server database for Windchill from version 2005 or 2008 to version 2012 or 2014 or 2016, you must change SQL Server database collation. For more information, see Changing SQL Server Database Collation.
• The Windchill Upgrade Reference Guide complements the Windchill Upgrade Guide by expanding on certain topics, particularly detailed information about the Windchill Upgrade Manager. For more information, see Windchill Upgrade Manager.
