Creating a Base URI in Windchill Directory Server
A base URI is required to store administrative objects at the LDAP server. Complete this procedure if you have OpenDS servers.
Prerequisites
Message Oriented Middleware installed.
An LDAP server configured for Windchill.

To create a base URI:
1. Log in to OpenDS with your administrator username and password.
2. Open the control panel, select New Base DN, and enter a value for the Base DN field as shown in the following figure. The value AC42 is used in this example. Use your desired value.
3. Select the remaining options forNew Base DN.
4. Select Manage Entries in the control panel. Select your Base DN value, and create a new domain as shown in the following figures:
5. Enter a new value for a domain. SunMQ is used for this example. Use your desired value.
6. For future use, capture the base URI (the full path to the node that you have just added in LDAP).
